Facilities Services Training offers employees opportunities to improve existing skills and learn new ones. Taking advantage of these benefits can often "open the door" to new and exciting career opportunities. There are many opportunities for Facilities Services employees.

Facilities Services Training at The University of North Carlina at Chapel Hill serves to schedule all training events, classes, seminars, workshops, safety and compliance training, management and supervisory development classes, courses and plans of study, trades training for job skill enhancement and continuing education for licensure and many other specialized Facilities Services training needs. Facilities Services Training handles all Educational Assistance and Tuition Waiver requests, as well as the  monitoring of Training requests that require travel. Facilities Services Training oversees the Employee Recognition and manages the Recognition and Training websites. Also, Facilities Services Training oversees the distribution of safety equipment for every Facilities Services employee and especially for new employees. Facilities Services Training directs  the acquisition of prescription safety glasses for Facilities Services employees and manages the safety shoe program.
