Procedure for Recycling Cell Phones at UNC:

Students can recycle their cell phones in the area offices of their housing communities.  Clear display jugs are located in each area office.  Just drop it off in the jug!  Off campus students can bring their cell phones to the Student Union.  There is a cell phone display box located at the recycling area to the right of Alpine Bagel.

UNC Employees can recycle their cell phones by also taking them to the cell phone recycling center to the right of Alpine Bagel in the Student Union.

All salvageable cell phones will be reused (example: given to victims of domestic violence) and older cell phones’ parts will be recycled.
