Fact Sheet - Telephone Book Recycling

Telephone books may be recycled with newspapers and magazines.  Please place phonebooks in the BLUE outdoor carts labeled for "newspapers & magazines".  The carts are located behind most campus buildings. This program is in place year round, so there is no stop or start date for phone book recycling.

If you do not have an outdoor cart, please recycle these in the indoor newspaper/magazine recycling bins. If you have a large quantity, please neatly stack these next to the indoor bins so they do not overfill the bins before there service date.

You may also recycle phone books in Orange County. This may be done either through curbside recycling if you have curbside collection where you live, or at drop-off sites.  The closest drop off site to campus is the University Mall location.  There is also a drop-off sites located at the Eubanks Road convenience center off Airport Road.
