8University Leaders for Sustainable Futures, Talloires Declaration  - The Talloires Declaration was inaugurated in 1990 at the culmination of the international conference on "The Role of Universities in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development", held in Talloires, France at the Tufts University European Center. It is the guiding document for the Association of University Leaders for a Sustainable Future (ULSF) and serves as a framework of action outlining the role and responsibilities of universities in supporting environmentally sustainable development and advancing global environmental literacy.
